The Arizona Association of Conservation Districts is made up of local citizens who work to provide leadership in natural resource conservation to the people of Arizona. The mission of Arizona's Conservation Districts is to identify natural resource problems and opportunities and formulate working plans to address them. Arizona Association of Conservation Districts (AACD) enhances this mission by providing leadership, which represents the issues and concerns of local people. AACD provides a mechanism for conservation districts work cohesively in addressing issues at the state level and above.
Through our leadership we strive to: - Promote responsible management and use of natural resources
- Encourage voluntary solutions to natural resource problems
- Anticipate key natural resource issues and propose effective policies to address them
- Develop human and other resources to address natural resource needs and issues
- Create a forum of communication between diverse natural resource and other groups AACD Key Initiatives:
